Advanced fascia bodywork to support your body’s natural healing

This treatment focuses on releasing tension through the fascia and cranial bones. By gently creating space within the tissues, the body is supported to unwind and self-correct — restoring balance from the inside out. Some treatments may include intra-oral techniques (work inside the mouth), when appropriate.

My Approach

The treatment is gentle and intuitive, using direct contact on the skin without oils. By working slowly and attentively, we allow the fascia to soften and release in its own time, creating long-lasting change.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is cranial fascial therapy?
It’s a gentle, hands-on therapy that works with the fascia (connective tissue) and cranial system to release tension, support the nervous system, and help the body self-correct. It includes subtle work on the head, spine, and sometimes inside the mouth (intra-oral).

What conditions can it help with?
Common issues treated include migraines, TMJ (jaw pain), tinnitus, head and neck tension, whiplash, concussion after-effects, birth trauma (past or recent), and symptoms related to nervous system dysregulation.

What does it feel like?
You may feel warmth, a sense of spaciousness, pressure changes, tingling, or gentle movement. Some people experience a deep sense of relaxation or emotional release as the body unwinds and lets go of stored tension.

Will it hurt?
No. Cranial fascial therapy is very gentle. There is no force or manipulation — instead, the body is guided to release at its own pace in a safe and supported environment.

What is intra-oral work?
Intra-oral techniques involve gentle treatment inside the mouth (with gloved hands) to release tension in the jaw, palate, and surrounding fascia. This can be especially helpful for TMJ pain, headaches, and post-dental trauma.

Is it suitable for people with a history of trauma or anxiety?
Yes — this work is particularly helpful for calming the nervous system and supporting emotional processing. Sessions are always client-led and guided by what feels safe for you.

Do I stay clothed during treatment?
Yes. You’ll remain fully clothed and lie comfortably throughout. I work directly on the skin in certain areas, such as the head or face, but no oils are used.

How many sessions will I need?
This varies. Some clients feel change after just one session, while others benefit from a short series to support longer-term healing or complex symptoms.

Can this help children or babies?
Cranial fascial therapy is often used to support children and babies, especially around birth trauma, feeding issues, or tension patterns. However, I currently work only with adults and do not specialise in paediatric treatment. If you're seeking support for a child, I’d be happy to recommend a qualified practitioner.

Is Cranial Fascial Therapy the same as Craniosacral Therapy?

Not quite—they’re closely related but have different focuses.

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle technique that works with the rhythm of the craniosacral system (the fluid and membranes around your brain and spinal cord) to support your nervous system and encourage whole-body balance.

Cranial Fascial Therapy, on the other hand, focuses more on releasing fascial tension in the head and body. Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs. This therapy helps to unwind tight or stuck areas in the fascia, which can affect your posture, movement, and even how you feel emotionally.

While both therapies use gentle touch and can help with similar concerns—like tension, stress, headaches, or developmental issues—they differ in approach. Cranial fascial work includes deeper release of restrictions in the soft tissue and may address more structural patterns throughout the whole body.
